    There is soon to be a book coming out about slavery that talks about the distribution of slaves from Africa. I heard the author on the radio and he said that there were about twelve and a half million slaves taken from Africa. Of those about one half a million came to the US. That's about four percent. South America, apparently had even more slavery than the US did. It's not really anyone's favorite subject
