I must admit I do find watching things like operations on TV quite uncomfortable as I tend to tense up in whichever part of the body they're working on. Maybe that means I'm just empathizing with the patient?....

Interesting to see there's actually a scientific reason behind why white folk are the way they are.

These articles are very revealing on multiple levels - the pineal gland as we know deals with the spirit but what deals with the Sol/Soul?

medial prefrontal cortex seems to be one of the functions that is used by the Soul.

Not surprised. They operated from a strictly material (satan, devil) realm, whilst non-whites operate from a spiritual higher collective realm....there are times when I've walk in patients rooms and I've literally felt their pain manifest in my body as giant fist clutching my gut.......:10500:

I wonder why that is. Maybe the study is wrong. There are lots of dubious studies out there.

You are absolutely correct in the fact that there are a lot of dubious studies out there - nevertheless, this one can be seen in the reality that we as African Americans are faced with -

There is a difference between empathy - or soul connection between our two peoples and thus that's why we call each other 'Soul/Sol Brother or Soul Sista' while many of use view white Europeans as Sol/Soulless.

Exactly. I didn't need a study to tell me this :SuN049:

I mean some whites care more about cats and dogs than they do humans. They will sit there and have a 30 min long convo with a cat, but look at a black person like dung on a stick.

There are and it could be. It just resonates with my personal experience.

In my view, non-human animals deserve the same empathy and respect that humans do. Their feelings are just as important.
