    it worked for a moment,
    then before i knew it--it didn't.
    i died and didn't know,
    because i thought.
    it went something like this.....

    i struggled to live,
    and died trying to live.
    and i lost all contact,
    and all hope.
    when i struggled beyond,
    my strength.
    i out stepped my shoes,
    and out talked my lips.
    and lived everyday,
    like i was forever.
    who am i--or was i,
    to think i was forever?
i should have none that earthly is temporary,
    and i am dirt.
    no higher than grass,
    no lower than mud.
    just a rock or pebble,
    of sensless ruined clay.
    no negativity,
    just well--dead you see.
    i struggled to be,
    what i shouldn't have been.
and it lead me to be,
    where i am now.
greeting worms with an open heart,
and telling dirt and me to become one.
    i died thinking that,
    it would work.
    i worked thinking,
    i struggled.
    when really i had only,
    been suffocating.
    suffocating in my own,
    darkness.
trouble lights were nowhere to be found,
and i searched for them not.
    i don't sound like i tried,
i guess that's why i'm in my present situation.
because i took life by the windowshield,
and didn't bother to look at the trunk.
i thought i knew what i was getting into,
but i only fooled myself by thinking so.
    you may call this,
    not a flow.
but this is peace for the lounge,
written for the bars with people that's just sitting around.
    thinking within themselves,
that today is just another day.
consider not the high and lifted up,
    but rather the down cast.
    the ant is more powerful,
    than a thousand men.
because they can make you move,
    with one bite.
now why couldn't i have been,
more open-minded to my words when i could speak.
i'm not Abel--but not even my blood can speak for me,
    for all life is gone.
all life as i know and knew it,
    has vanished before my eyes.
    even my eyes,
    are gone.
    no,
    no,
    no,
    no,
    no,
    no,
    nope.
    can't take back anything,
the struggle has no rewind button.
    for if it did,
we would all be pushing it non-stop.
    :hearthis: ,
you see his lips moving but hear nothing.
    kinda like me,
    movement but no progressing.
    because i lost all,
that i thought i never had.
    temporary pleasure,
    in a temporary object.
    thoughts thought obscure,
    rusting the golds purest form.
    confusing nonsense,
    and no answer to questions.
but i seek them not either,
    my words are nothingness.
    because now my words,
    have died..................(closes eyes)

'preciate the love RICH, we all have those days and sometimes lives where we struggle so hard that we don't take the time to see that we don't have to struggle to make it, but only to make an effort to get up and do something......thank you.........one love

watzinaname-i do see that, and if we continue to put our feet behind us, the only thing we'll be able to do is fall; therefore we should walk and not stagger.

RICH-thank you again, sometimes even the mist seems like fog ya feel me?

gempis-what can i say to a sistah that defines strength, we sometimes get so caught up into what we SEE that we can't UNDERSTAND that there's more to it than what we make it out to be.

    'preciate the love ya'll............one love
