Like a solitary tear
and da whisper of fear
continues thy struggle
as life long birth
of struggling maze
seem to never fade
clashing in the waves
passing through search
of ancestors child
becoming more lost by miles
a heart broken solo pain
leave an entrapment to da brain
where da massa has driven deep
killin the life as we sleep
da struggle continues in bleep
until we mentally release
da yesteryears of fear
awaken in da new year
as proud and strong wit black pride
forget about subside to an distinction
how long do we struggle in da past
how long will this last
another four hundred year of clash
before we awaken to da task
da struggle continues ....................

Rich - What a haunting refrain is "how long ?" But you portray the question most eloquently in your scribe. Perhaps mental liberation is just a voluntary disregard for the "plantation dog", the "plantation guard" and the "plantation fence" still ingrained in our perceptions. I truly enjoyed your scribe. It makes you think. HH
