Strangers are monologues told by every day people.

Strangers: The Grieving Sister

I'm sorry
Please hold on a second
ANGIE! You see where my...
NEVER MIND!
Sorry. My head just isn't all there today
It hasn't been there at all for the past 3 weeks
*sniff*
My little sister got caught up in some mess
It wasn't her fault
She had nothing to do with what went down
Sorry, sorry...
*sigh*
I...
....
I don't get it...
It was a drive by shooting
Her and some other kids were hangin' out
at Allenmore Park
She was only 13
...
They can't find who did it
Nobody is coming forward with answers
This is my LITTLE SISTER!
These...
quote, unquote PEOPLE
Saw something
They know who did this
But...
...But...they just don't care
13!!!
The bullet caught her in the side of her head
The left side of her brain
She had been in ICU
*sigh
....
I couldn't even look at her
and Mama...
She....
Sorry...Hold on give me second

Mama...
That's her baby
That's OUR baby
We tried to keep her on life support
But all we was doing was keeping her heart beating
She was long gone...
She wasn't with us no more
At night...I heard Mama crying
Asking God 'WHY'
I'm not ready
I mean it wasn't easy seeing her layin' in the hospital
Now..
Now, I gotta see her in a CASKET!!
I can't take this...
But I...I gotta be the strong one
Daddy, dead...
Lord, what am I gonna do?
....
Excuse me.
It's time.
