Strangers in the night, Passers-by, Star-crossed lovers

    Like strangers in the night
    Our eyes connect
Feeling spiritual reflections of a long lost love
Or maybe it’s just that our souls were lovers in a previous life
    How could this be?
Yet, the chemistry is so strong between you and me
The familiar sweet scent of your soul has me losing control
    Yes…we’ve been here before
    Just you…and…I.

Strangers in the night, Passers-by, Star-crossed lovers

    Like passers-by
As you walk by, I get a whiff of your womanly essence
I smell your melodic, soulful scent upon the breeze
It penetrates my mind and engulfs my soul
    I lay in it
    I marinade in it
Hell, I even took time to play in it
    Letting it consume me…Fully.
    Thoroughly
    Completely
Whose aroma is this…in my midst?
Who is she… who has captured me…spiritually?

Strangers in the night, Passers-by, Star-crossed lovers

Like Star crossed lovers in the midnight sky
As we meet, our passions collide
Me feeling you…and you feeling me
Is this the way it’s supposed to be?
    The heat
    The passion
    The desire
The raging fire…deep in my soul
    Only heaven knows
Oh GOD, please give me the sign to take a nip of this wine
Yet, on this desire our fate will close
    But, I will never forget…DaOneTrueRose

    Farewell, my love ~ muahhhhh

    THANKS FOR THE LOVE....

I haven't posted here in awhile. Actually, I haven't written anything in awhile either.

I'm glad you guys liked it. I hope that some of the other members who have read my other pieces chime in to let a brotha know what they think.

Have I made any improvements? Is this my best piece to date? Let a brotha know what's what.

    Peace, Fam.

    Far from strangers...

I walk pass you, each and everyday
inhaling all that your mind has to say

Wearing my finest, most enticing aroma
to put you in ...a near-state coma

    and for that brief moment...
    you/I/we

    layed in it...
    marinate in it...
hell...for a second...took the time to play in it

    Letting it consume us
    thoughly...
    completely

Yes it was my aroma...in your midst
    I soulfully captured you...spirtually

    you have long since past
your face has turned to a blur
but the scent of your still lingers
how could i forget your face
knowing how much i longed to
run my fingers along the contours
of every curve or every plane
i'll never forget how you stood out
    in that white linen suit
your blackness a beacon of brillance
when i felt the hem of your shirt
graze my arm i felt you
just as if we were skin to skin
now whenever i pass a man
    smelling of sandlewood and oils
i think of you and how our souls touched
without you even casting a glance my way

i loved it' money.... flow on poet
