Matt.6:
[24] No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Jas.1:
[8] A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Rev. 3:
[15] I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

Great post and thread, like usual, CherryB :) (though you've been absent on the site).

Everyone faithful to the King needs to always be aware of their own self to make absolutely positive, they are not straddling the fence, or trying to live in two worlds. Some try to make this world and that which is spiritual be two halves of their lives, but we can only have one or the other, and ultimately will choose only one, because it is favored.

To be like the Son should always be in our moving forward, and seeing that He was not of this world, neither should we want to be, though we have to live in it, for a time.

Only faith in the Son, and all He has spoken to teach, guide, and keep us is acceptable before the Father, and nothing less of that. Belief in His coming and having died for our sins, and belief in His resurrection on the 3rd day should be firm and immovable, if one seeks to be set and immovable in the heart of the KING. Keeping all of the commandments and not just some shows true devotion, love, and worship to the Father, and great Honor to the Most High and His Anointed Son. Blessings!!
