In your dream world this man really loves you
He fiens, lust, and shoot really adores you
You don't realize that he uses you
And just laughs at the drama he puts before you

In his eyes you're his stepping stone
And your house was never really his home
And your baby, your baby, was neva his only one
He had five more and they almost grown
But nope, you don't see it, the damage is already done

In your dream world that money you're missing was not his fault
And that STD you got
I mean, COLD you got is not
Making your ***** rot
Nope, it's not his fault

It's not his fault that he lost his job a year ago
And he went to rehab for smoking dro'
Because it was just pressure, but from who though?
Because in your eyes your relationship is prefect, but in reality it should have been through

Because in your dream world you didn't see those numbers in his pants
And you didn't talk to that girl on the phone who curse you out for talking to HER man
And
And your windshield really didn't cost a grand
When that same woman
Broke it and told you that your man had injects her with his semen
Nope, you didn't see the other women

And you definitely didn't feel his hand go across your face after you didn't fix his dinner
After he didn't come in the night before and your face was redder
Afterwards feeling more pain as you headed into the kitchen to fix the dinner
With tears running down your face making you sadder

You didn't see when your child was crying because he got only one toy for christmas
When daddy was gone and your son complained about how he missed him
No, because in your dream world he only went out to get the toys for lil' man from him
And you didn't even notice when he came back with NO toys from him

No, you didn't stop pretending until it came from his own mouth, "I don't love you."
It hit like a bomb shell but all along it was right in front of you
The signs were there and you let them slip right pass you
Now, he claims lil' man ain't his and that single mother is you
Because he's gone and don't care about a d@mn thing he put you through
Because you didn't stop pretending until he left you and everybody knew.
