Stevie Wonder is now the last of the geniuses

Why can't these new artists figure out this type of adoration comes from talent and the true soul that comes from within? This never fades, and only grows.

"Shame on them... some on us, shame on me, shame on you, shame on us, so what the fuss?"

I am going to stop fussing about this new wave of awful music, and work on being part of the movement that brings it back.

    Anyone with me???

We still have the genius of Stevie Wonder.
And Smokey Robinson, in a league all his own. Can anyone sing a love song like Smokey?

Just like Prince. There will never be another Prince. R.I.P.
I was still listening to Purple Rain.
Listen to Smokey every single day.
    Purple Rain still in rotation

Seems this Prince tribute of "Nothing Compares 2 U" could have been dedicated to her son, and a promotional thing to present a new album.

Madonna wasn't the only one to have supposedly dated Prince...

In her new memoir “The Beat of My Own Drum,” Sheila E. finally confirms in glorious detail the long-swirling rumors that she and His Purple Majesty actually had been engaged. Everyone always knew they were lovers. But Prince had so many women.

    Nona Gaye
    Bria Valente
    Ananda Lewis
    Cat Glover
Manuela Testolini (Married Eric Benet after Halle)
    Mayte Garcia
    Carmen Electra
Tatiana Thumbtzen (the woman from MJ's the way you make me feel video)
    Kim Basinger
    Apollonia

I guess out of these Madonna was the only actual singer (Nona and Apollonia tried).

But with the history they had, this seems like an industry move for promotion more than anything.

Listen to the very beginning of this song, another one from Madonna's "Like a Prayer" album

It's a sample of George Harrison's "Breath Away From Heaven", but sounds like Prince singing and probably playing it.

Madonna's album "Like A Prayer", probably had more Prince collaborations than he was credited for...

Madonna's Like a Prayer Turns 25 Today! 5 Things You Didn't Know About the Album

    1. Prince is on the album! It was a known fact that the singer worked on "Love Song" with Madonna, but what you may not know is that his guitar work is featured on "Like a Prayer." According to Leonard, "the guitar that you hear before the door slams at the start of 'Like a Prayer' is Prince. What happened is, [Madonna] sent him something to play on and he played on it and sent it back. And we didn't feel that what he did served it. But that piece, that beginning, is him."

Maybe Prince's issue was with the success of the album, and how she probably went along with cutting him out of the due credit?

    Just a thought.

But she is the one Billboard chooses to pay tribute to him?

Who knows how much more music has been "not credited" to Prince in his early battles with the industry.

His protest against it was obvious
