THE ST. JAMES’S FOLLOWERS, etal SIGNATURE ATTACK ON PAUL

By Andre Austin

The Pauline Letters should be viewed as a contest between Paul vs St James & his followers.

I believe that the letters of James, Jude & 2 Peter are working interchangeably/intertextually in part to typologically link with eachother with an OT Proverbs to get revenge on Paul for stating that the Law of Moses was a curse in Galatians and a sin in 2 Cor 15:56 . They are telling us that this was an “undeserved Curse” and for that they will lampoon Paul as a Horse, Donkey and a foolish Mule.

In the dictionary:

Donkey is Stupid ( doesn’t understand) or obstinate person. 2 Peter 3:14-16 blames people for following Balaam was because they misunderstood/distorted Paul’s writings.

Mule is a stubborn/unresonable person

Black Horse is symbolic of unbalance scales. Plato symbolizes as an unhealthy appetite. James, etal would pick up on both because Paul’s Faith, no works is incomplete/unbalanced to the law and his repeal of Jewish dietary laws was unacceptable.

The Letters of James 3:1-12, Jude 1:5-13, ( additionally, Both paraphrase from Plato to bolster attack Paul),2 Peter 2:10-22 & Revelations 6:5 as lampooning Paul as a Horse, Donkey and foolish/unreasonable, unbalanced Scales of a Mule taking their cues from Plato and even in Proverbs. The above mentioned James, etal were upset that Paul said the Law of Moses was a curse, so they cursed Paul with a quote from proverbs each taking a section of it within their letters with 2 Peter 2:10-22 leaving behind a clue to what was going on.

St Paul reminds me of Proverbs 26:1-3

“An undeserved curse does not come to rest:(see James Curse & Blessing of the Horses tongue)

A whip for the Horse

A Halter (restraint) for the Donkey (same as James rein/bridle on Tongue on untamed Horse)

A rod for the backs of fools”. (Paul admits he was a Fool for Christ beaten for curse/blessing1 Cor 4:10-13, bringing with the rod/whip in verse 21 which he ties himself into Proverbs 26)

I like 2 Peter 2:10-22 who quotes directly from Proverbs 26 but at a later verse 11, but still in full context he mentions a Donkey and brute beast that do not understand (Donkey/Mule). James, etal signature attack on Paul share the same context, content and very similar style.

James chapter 3 is the same with 2 Peter 2:22 in style about mixing of liquids. Peter’s was water and Mud from Proverbs 26:11.

Both Jude 1:10 & 2 Peter 2:12 & 3:14-16) talks about those who Blaspheme in things don’t understand/unreasonable are like beast (donkeys) who will be destroyed.

James 3:9-10 could only be referring to Paul’s cursing/blessing because Paul wrote about it in Galatians 3:13-14)

Now in Revelations chapter 2 etal helps tie everything in completely. The Iron rod in Proverbs 26 is now an iron scepter ready to beat down the followers of Balaam who advocated eating food sacrificed to idols from which Paul said was okay. These people are also given the Evil side of the Venus star/Lucifer (Rev 2:13-28). Jude writes of this as a wandering star too which is the same description Pliny the Elder gives of Venus/Lucifer.

So with all of this in context doesn’t not seem reasonable to think that the White Horse (Domitian) comes in to kill the Black Horse (Paul) who twisted up and unbalanced the balance scales of the Law that dropped from his eyes in Acts 9:18. Well the James, etal signature seems to be indicating this.

Notes:

Robert Eisenman who wrote James the brother of Jesus Volume 2 p.208 thinks the Balaam imagery should be applied to the Herodians who he says are Arabs. Well didn’t Paul in Romans 16:11 say he was a relative to the Herods? Eisenman says Paul was Arab and I second that motion. Besides the ancestry of the Arabs comes from Ishmael who was symbolic of a “wild-***/donkey) see Genesis 16:11-12.

Both 2 Peter 2:22 & Paul 1Cor 4:10-13 and verse 21 use the same technique or Modus operandi to Typologically link themselves to Proverbs 26 by each using the last verse in their chapters to allude to it. Paul tries to reverse it by having the rod/whip in his hand. Because it’s the last verse in each chapter I think editing in may have taken place.
