I caught myself staring at a blossom falling
It reminded me that Spring is calling
Just as it landed beneath blooming trees
It was swept away
By a gentle Spring breeze

This beautiful blossom
Moving alone through the air
Dancing so light
Moving here
moving there

I could not remove my eyes from this sight
A single blossom dancing
A Springtime delight

Of all that takes place when Spring is new
This single blossom reminds me of you
Fresh and alive though removed from its branch
It takes on the world
It takes the chance

You are like spring
Born of beauty
A beautiful falling blossom
My love
Fall softly to me
