    Spiritual Con Artists

The Past, the Preacher, The Spiritual Teacher, Black Nationalist
    Black Nationally trained
Sprituality used as the primary pawn in the game
Feeding off the Heart and Soul
Oh so daring, Oh so Bold

Con artist come in many forms
    Their dirty deeds to perform
    Gaming, Shaming and always Claiming
to have YOUR best interest at heart
They ask you, tell you they had no part
of the worthless ******s who broke your Heart

It is now their duty, It is now their fight
to help you Heal the Wrong with Right
Yet all the while laying the foundation
for the Giving in me, to be taken

That was a really strong poem...I haven't been on this site in a while, but it's always a blessing to read other people's pieces. The rhythm and flow of the piece was well put together...I read it about 3 or 4 times. Thanks for the blessing!

Shameful when those who claim to have your best interests at heart, are trying to con you. The phrase, I don't want any money that jingles, comes to mind. Appreciated the message, and dug the word play and rhythm poetess.
