    SPIRITS "DO NOT SPEAK"!...

ONLY ONE MESSENGER WAS "SPOKEN" TO!...

    002.253
YUSUFALI: Those messengers We endowed with gifts, some above others:
@@@To one of them Allah spoke@@@; others He raised to degrees (of
honour); to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear (Signs), and
strengthened him with the holy spirit. If Allah had so willed,
succeeding generations would not have fought among each other, after
clear (Signs) had come to them, but they (chose) to wrangle, some
believing and others rejecting. If Allah had so willed, they would
not have fought each other; but Allah Fulfilleth His plan.

The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language: Fourth
    Edition. 2000.

    speak

    PRONUNCIATION: spk
VERB: Inflected forms: spoke ( spk), spo·ken ( spkn), speak·ing,
    speaks

INTRANSITIVE VERB: 1. @@@To utter words or articulate sounds with
    ordinary speech modulation; talk
    ...

SYNONYMS: speak, talk, converse1, discourse These verbs mean to
express one's thoughts by uttering words.
    Speak and talk, often
interchangeable, are the most general: He ate without once speaking
to his companion. "On an occasion of this kind it becomes more than a
moral duty to speak one's mind. It becomes a pleasure" (Oscar Wilde).
I want to talk with you about vacation plans. "Let's talk sense to
the American people" (Adlai E. Stevenson). Converse stresses
interchange of thoughts and ideas: "With thee conversing I forget all
time" (John Milton). Discourse usually refers to formal, extended
speech: "striding through the city, stick in hand, discoursing
spontaneously on the writings of Hazlitt" (Manchester Guardian
    Weekly).

Now, some may say "speak" means to "communicate".

This makes no sense in the above verse,

Would not Allah "communicate" w/ALL His messengers?

Yet, the Qur'an states, "...To one of them Allah spoke ..."

if you take one step towards Him, He runs 2 you!

I don't know what all that stuff up top said but I can tell you yeah spirits speak..whether during your waking hours or in dreams they talk........My Daddy died 11 years ago and every now and again he swings by in my dreams to holla, a couple of his potnas I was close to do the same as well as a few other folks I know that have moved on ..........I've had the spirits of children call my name at different times and at times I can feel them just around me........I also have a thang for crows which in the South are spirits or souls (whichever you choose) of folks gone so in short yeah they talk.....my Great Aunt always saw and heard spirits she had the "sight" I don't see them except in dreams but I do hear and feel them regardless of the form they come to me in.............

I, personally, believe that, Allah would "communicate" w/ALL messengers.

In this verse, it is made clear that, to some He "spoke".

Now, why does it point out that he "spoke", when it goes w/out saying that He "communicated"?

Warusulan qad qasasnahum AAalayka min qablu warusulan lam naqsushum AAalayka wakallama Allahu moosa takleeman

    YUSUFALI: Of some messengers We have already told thee the story; of others We have not;- and to Moses Allah spoke direct;- PICKTHAL: And messengers We have mentioned unto thee before and messengers We have not mentioned unto thee; and Allah spake directly unto Moses;
SHAKIR: And (We sent) messengers We have mentioned to you before and messengers we have not mentioned to you; and to Musa, Allah addressed His Word, speaking (to him):
KHALIFA: Messengers we have told you about, and messengers we never told you about. And GOD spoke to Moses directly.

DID ALLAH NOT "COMMNICATE" W/ALL HIS MESSENGERS? YET IT IS SAID TO MOSES HE "SPAKE DIRECTLY".

Let us "pretend", Mr./Ms. Red, is correct.

Now, why would Allah only "speak" to one or some of His messengers?

And, Mr./Ms. Red, what does it mean to, "speak directly"?
