    Spike Lee
In 1996, Spike Lee — director of films from Do the Right Thing to Malcolm X to the recent documentary Kobe Doin' Work — traveled to Brazil with Michael Jackson to produce the music video for his controversial song "They Don't Care About Us." He talked to TIME about his experiences, Michael Jackson's legacy and having the Gloved One as a houseguest.

I still cant believe it.... it just doenst make sense

I mean I didnt like most of Micheals music just mostly some of the older stuff...

But it just doenst make sense... not at all

I like Micheal for what he did in the world .... I mean I remeber when he was part of the song "We are the world" .... man all those stars were singing and .... it was just the best ....

I mean no one will ever ... ever do a "Thriller" ... Thatz just incredible work...
