    Alaafia Brother Dino,

I think you might also know the answer to this one. So, yesterday I was looking at my work mate. She is Afro-Caribbean, and very traditional in every sense of the word (to wit; her son's teachers are always commenting on the colourful home cooked food he takes to school, while his friends are always laughing at him because he doesn't eat (or know) most of the items on the MacDonald's/KFC menu). So now, I noticed she was wearing this pretty necklace made from cowrie shells. I was intruiged since I had (mistakenly it seems) assumed that she was a Christian and asked her where she got it from. 'Oh this? my friend got it for me from Ghana. It's for protection'.

To my knowledge, cowrie shells are represent a woman's genatalia, and therefore are worn to reinforce their sexual energy. Matter of fact, at my friend's favourite strip club, the black women wear cowrie beads around their waists. Furthermore, she is a Scorpio. Humm..

Do you know if cowrie shells worn for protection too?

    Cheers!

"Your friends" favorite strip club, huh.
I can't comment knowledgeably regarding the cowries, but i can say that they are used in many ways. So they would have been infused with certain herbs, etc., certain ese Odu invoked and, wala! protection charm.

The trinity of the father the son and the holy spirit. I've seen it in a painting. three dudes in white, one's holding a dove, i think one a plate.... they are like inside a circle if i remember correctly, or a circle above, yellow background. It is worshipped like a single saint.
LOL the Trinidad was one of Columbus' ships i think.

    Yea credo is like creed.
