This is just a little keystyle I just did. I really wanted to write it down but i've just been on a big writers block lately. It's not quite finished either. I wanted to speak on alot more issues...I just couldnt finish it off..Honest opinions please... Honest opinions please

i'm part of
a hopeless
cause...
tip toe'n behind
my dreams...
i accidentally lost...
when i really
lost god...
part of an generation
that's has been
brain washed...
"they" wont even let me listen
to tupac or nas...
"they" know
hiphop...
"they" think only metaphors and
similes...
make a great
emcee...
they ridicule
me...
because i'm a cawntry boy
from tennessee...
they say my people ruined
the industry...
with our cotton heads and
gold teeth...
they wasnt
listening...
when little brother was
speaking free...ly
they said we
slow...
and like to call our
women hoes...
put them in uncut
videos...
spreadin their legs and
working a pole...
i knew one and she was
from new york...
and hated the way the ****** up there
treated her...
"they" said it's just a southern thing
it's really universal...
"they" hate the way we use
certain words...
"they" hate my country
slur...
"they" hate the way we substituted
"there" for "thurr"...
"they think we glorified the
****...
it's just the way we
speak it...
nelly didnt invent
it...
and it isnt just
midwest...
it's been around before you were the
little secret...
inside of your mother's
cervix...
i'm sorry but I dont see the point
in a spinnin
necklace...
or creating an imagine
behind a bullet proof
vest...
or disregardin the thump
under my chest...

controversy is my reason
for writing this...
they say a southern man doesnt know
his music...
memphis and new orleans
birth the basics...
that hiphop soley
depends on...
and i can keep going
on...

but nobody listens to
the southern song....

hopefully something will inspire me again to finish this ****...

Hmmmmmm

i'm part of
a hopeless
cause...

You know I sometimes feel the same way too. I'm from the south, not too far from you in Arkansas, and I have trouble understanding MY purpose for being here sometimes. We just have to learn to love and encourage and uplift eacother up. As far as controversy, it will always be if people don't start opening their eyes to reality.

I loved this floE. I lQQk forward to the finished work :)

but nobody listens to
the southern song....

well...Brother...you know I love your work...
finished or unfinished...
the perspective you bring...needs to be heard
because the "southern/country culture"...has been exploited
and paraded in a light that isn't completely accurate
or favorable...
so continue to enlighten...I hope your inspiration to
finish this piece comes soon...as a matter of fact
I could see this as a series...an epic piece
because there are so many elements that
can be built upon...
all I can say is that I will be waiting for you
to shine the light...from your poetic lighthouse
and bring the misconception of
~Southern Cawntry (Country)~ to shore...
