Lord, make them listen to these acoustic drums as they beat their rhythms
Into the very soul of America
Listen the voices in triumph as they sing songs of joy
Exemplifying the heart of a Negro culture
Listen the the sounds of blackness coming from my lips
This teenaged Afro American female
As they seep into your hearts and settle

Come-unity, enter with my words
Into My People
Love, dissolve in the fluid of Freedom
And change My People's mind
As they wade in the Water
Cymbals crash with fists of power
While we reminisce the spirits
Of our Dearly Dark skinned brethern and sistren:
Martin Luther King, Malcom X, George Washington Carver
Madam CJ Walker, Sista Soulja, Maya Angelou
Rosa Parks, Fredrick Douglas, Harriet Tubbman
You...me

Black-rest with us before we make our way
To this nations capital
Marching by the millions
We will no longer stand for this beating with rods of shame
Pride will rebuild our African Kingdoms

Let us as eagles soar, together
Above the clouds
Let us as wolves run, in packs
Through the densely packed forests of injustice
Let us as fish, in schools
Take lessons from our elders
Let us as ants, colonize
And work in this Land of the Free
Let us as African American Peoples, in one Family
Live in this Home of the Brave
Let us unite because of Heritage and Pride
And let us peacefully engage in activities
That stimulate our hearts to act in love
