    I hear a familiar sound
    the sound of many waters
as if a cool brook wished to be heard
babbling incessantly in an ancient language
interpreted universally as the voice of reason

Have I gone stark raving mad
    it doesn't hurt to ask

    Can our planet speak
    does it Love to eat
    are ALL sheep
    really fast
    asleep

    Poet prone to ask
    take a sound to task
    query trees for remedy
    even though men laugh

    Mother Earth,
    spill the dirt and
    show me where it hurts

    Could it be humanity
has left us in the lurch

    Our mannish behavior
    insubordinate jerks
    no sophistication
    ruining Earth ~
