It was cold outside
And the vibe wasn’t feeling
All that right
Then an essence of divine
Beauty came to the door,
Her spirit extinguishing thoughts
Of anxiety
Her ever-graceful aura giving
Off an unusual glow

Upon entering my heart warmed
Elements of culture found,
The music of my people
Electrifying the atmosphere,
Artistry, heritage, laughter all around,
Incense, and cheeba burning,
No ******* or ****** to be found
The mood of the moment
Was right

Conversations of life on a deeper
Level flowed
Poetic thought exchanged
Every soul present connected
In spirit
So groove Soul Sister, groove
Show that love can be made
Without lustful intent,
Without ever becoming physical
