Some of the groups [...] have long been funded by George Soros and his Open Society Foundations,
according to the Washington Times.By looking at OSF tax records, the Times discovered that in
the most recent year for which records are available alone, Soros gave $33 million to radical groups
that worked to keep Ferguson whipped up and on the front pages across the country.

According to the Times report, the groups were especially keen to capitalize on any development that
could reflect badly on conservatives, and among their accomplishments was the popularization of the
“Black Lives Matter” hashtag on Twitter and manipulation of opinions through Facebook campaigns.

Without a doubt, these groups were funded by Soros precisely for their ability to serve the purpose
they achieved, raising a mob and wreaking havoc. They didn’t need a direct order to do the job; they
had $33 million worth of motivation and encouragement.

It is not so easy to dismiss what has already become a new grassroots movement in the states (and at one point also went global) too:

As I said and wrote before: This is based on today's black generations reality checks/wake up calls/etc.

It's not just about us anymore!

    FYI

The problem with this analysis is that it may be true that Soros has funded some in the movement, there really is no Black Lives Matter chapter in Ferguson, nor in St. Louis. In Ferguson the movement is completely autonomous, and protests have been led by outside activists and journalists along with some local organizations such as the St Louis based Organization of Black Struggle. The NOI and the Uhuru Movement have been on the ground as well as some Hebrew Israelites. So, BAR is reaching here. Furthermore, the movement has numerous factions with key members starting to splinter thanks to critics such as Gkenn Fird and Boyce Watkins, neither of which to my knowledge have been at Ground Zero doing any organizing themselves.

From what articles have suggested or have written about this...

    Groups:

    Colorlines

"Outlets which covered the research, and the movements themselves, included one, Colorlines, which Soros himself has funded."

    • Colorlines is an online news site that focuses on race issues and is published by Race Forward, a group that received $200,000 from Mr. Soros’s foundation in 2011. Colorlines has published tirelessly on the activities in Ferguson and heavily promoted the #BlackLivesMatter hashtag and activities.

    Organization for Black Struggle

"The Soros cash was also put to work driving buzzwords and social media campaigns to propel Ferguson into the national consciousness.

One recipient of his funding is the Organization for Black Struggle, which in turned established a group called the Hands Up Coalition, that has helped make ubiquitous the 'hands up, don't shoot' slogan."

    Drug Policy Alliance

"Soros also gave money to the Drug Policy Alliance, which worked on the perpetuation of the 'black lives matter' buzz phrase, which has been incorporated into speeches by political figures including Hillary Clinton."

“I went to Ferguson in a quest to be in solidarity and stand with the young organizers and affirm their leadership,” said Kassandra Frederique, policy manager at the Drug Policy Alliance, which was founded by Mr. Soros, and which receives $4 million annually from his foundation. She traveled to Ferguson in October.

    Black Alliance for Just Immigration

Ms. Frederique works with Opal Tometi, co-creator of #BlackLivesMatter — a hashtag that was developed after the killing of Trayvon Martin in Florida — and helped promote it on DPA’s news feeds. Ms. Tometi runs the Black Alliance for Just Immigration, a group to which Mr. Soros gave $100,000 in 2011, according to the most recent of his foundation’s tax filings.

    Samuel Dewitt Proctor Conference

    Link to site

Clergy representatives from the Samuel Dewitt Proctor Conference, where the Rev. Jeremiah Wright serves as a trustee, also showed up. SDPC received $250,000 from Mr. Soros in 2011.

    Gamaliel Foundation

    Link to site

One of the organizations that Mr. Soros funds, and which fueled the demonstrations in Ferguson, is the Gamaliel Foundation, a network of grass-roots, inter-religious and interracial organizations. Mr. Obama started his career as a community organizer at a Gamaliel affiliate in Chicago.

PICO (Pacific Institute for Community Organizations)

During Gamaliel’s weekend protest event, Sunday was deemed “Hands Up Sabbath,” where clergy were asked to speak out about racial issues, using packets and talking points prepared for them by another religion-based community organizing group, PICO.

PICO is also supported by the Open Society Foundations, according to its website.

    MORE

FrontPage Magazine reports that Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment (MORE) has been paying protesters $5,000 a month to demonstrate in Ferguson. Last week, hired protesters who haven’t been paid held a sit-in at MORE’s offices and posted a demand letter online.

MORE is the re-branded Missouri branch of ACORN, which filed for bankruptcy in late 2010, FrontPage reported. MORE and other groups supporting the Black Lives Matter movement have received millions of dollars from billionaire financier George Soros.

    Yeah

    Anything is possible

    But they're many players involved

and few here claim to be doing more than cheer from the sidelines

Or even be advisors aka coaches

Not even bound to make a bad call as an unwelcomed referee on the general practices side myself

    fyi
