I would only love to hear from my sistas plz! And my question is, ladies could you ever see yourself dating outside the race? Looking beyond racism and etc and instead following your heart, would you do it?

I wouldn't mind because I am into meeting new people and learning about their culture. I don't see nothing wrong with it.

    Hello Sister HoneyBrown

I can't see myself dating outside of my race. Knowing the sacrifices my ancestors endured hurts to much to even consider another race. I can see myself dating someone from another culture within my race though. I need someone who can relate and understand the mental conditionings that has been inflicted upon me.

I have been criticized on here for saying I date continental African men, so I know I'll be criticized for saying, "Yes, I have dated non-Black men."

IMO, and in my experience, there is no ESSENTIAL difference among the men that I have dated that can be traced to their ethnic group or race. The differences were cultural, individual, or personality differences.

A couple of years ago I dated one of my co-workers. We are both deputies and in our profession it is frowned upon to date outside of your race. He has not been the first white man that I've dated, but he was by far the best one. We didn't care what anyone thought and to this day he and I are the best of friends. If I was not in a relationship I would definately try again.

It will take a lifetime to learn your own...and once done, the rest will be of no interest.
