    Somebody please stand with me
    Somebody please stand with me
    Somebody please stand with me
    I'm tired of the injustice
    I'm tired of the unrighteous
    I'm tired of the suffering
    I'm tired of the pain
I'm tired of just being tired
    Why?
Because you did nothing when I needed you.
    I was blind
    couldn't see
Did you offer your eyes for me to see my way?
    I was deaf
couldn't quite hear the melodious sounds
Did you offer me your ear so I can listen?
I was speechless without a tongue
Did you offer your voice box so I can say what I felt
I was hungry without a morsel to numb my hunger pains
Did you offer your sandwich to keep me going?
I was thirsty mouth drier than the Sahara Dessert
You didn't offer your sweat to quench if my life depended on it
The Lord said, " man don't work you don't eat!"
I worked, and jobs was no longer available
    I was on time
    I worked overtime
    Ran a carpool
    Even shared my lunch
So I ask where's the love now
I'm broke, famished, homeless, without a soul to care
So how come when you was down and out
    I came to the rescue
I'm no boister, and I am certainly not no bragger
But by God I was there
So when I ask for some assistance
No hand seem to stretch out
If it recquired for your baby to be nursed
    I would offer my breast
So tell me after working so many years to retire
    To inspire
    To finally rest
    I have to suffer now
    Medicare no help
    Social Security a waste
    Help is no longer available
    My life is
    Denied
    Denied
    Denied
    You Deny me
    Yes, Judas Iscariot
    You betrayed me
Like a carcass with no fleshy undertone
    Brow stricken with wrinkles
Sun beaming upon my burnt skin
    I tug gently saying
    "Mister help me please"
Like a condemned whore you walked away
    Walked away
As my cries continue to go unheard
    Unheard
So I speak now from the grave
    To say
    To say
    Make a change
Make the first move to help someone in need
    Feed
    The hungry
    Love
    The lost
    Create
    New beginning
    Stand
    For truth
    Uphold
    The righteous
    Love
    Jesus
And most of all Loving yourself
So if you believe like I believe, and don't think I died in
    Vain
I want you to right now
    "Somebody please stand with me!"Form:OtherAbout:
I like to speak on issues that bother me. Freedom of speech is no longered honored. For speaking your mind will cost you everything. I say if the truth is the light then the truth shall set you free!!!

God knows I've seen the error of my ways
So I will stand with you for the rest of my days
Trying to right that which I have wronged
But also right that which I just plain out ignored
For many of days I was all about trying to get my mine
Refusing to offer a hand scared it would take away from my grind
I am living testimony of scratch a saint find a sinner
For every saint has a past to overcome and outlive
But my determination to be better is something you can believe
For now on my brother will never be to heavy of a load to bear

As it may appear at times that you're lonely, but do believe that ...you never stand alone. Every door swings both ways, and the door of justice, will open wide.
    wonderful piece poet.
