Some times
I lose my balance
And on the way down
I see the one who molested me
My childhood breaking
And as I pick up those pieces
I see the one that kidnapped me
Held me captive
In a locked motel room
As I run away I see a homeless girl
Hitchhiking
Picked up by rapists
But who would believe
What was normal for me
A marriage on the rocks
With brilliant children
Still looking for love
In all the wrong places
Another marriage that slapped
The sense out of me
Breaking my legs
Some times these things creep
My own horror movie
Some times alone is a blessing
Some times it's a curse
I lose my balance
And on the way down
I see the one who molested me
My childhood breaking
And as I pick up those pieces
I see the one that kidnapped me
Held me captive
In a locked motel room
As I run away I see a homeless girl
Hitchhiking
Picked up by rapists
But who would believe
What was normal for me
A marriage on the rocks
With brilliant children
Still looking for love
In all the wrong places
Another marriage that slapped
The sense out of me
Breaking my legs
Some times these things creep
My own horror movie
Some times alone is a blessing
Some times it's a curse
