More Parallels
Both the by Bill and astrology use a day as a year and vice versa. Jesus began his ministry thirty years after his birth. The sun begins its cycle thirty days afer its birth entering the house of Aquarius.
When Jesus the Sun of God is born the solar disk is in the house of Capricorn. Just as the first thirty years of Jesus life are ambiguous it is also not possible to actually determine that the sun is indeed in the house of Capricorn until January 19 the day before it enters the house of Aquarius.
The sun's journey through the zodiac takes one year. According to the synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke) Jesus ministry lasted for one year. This is not the only instance where the gospel of John contradicts the other gospels. Why the Church ignores the account of the first three gospels and teaches that Jesus ministry lasted three years is beyond me.
The sun visits the house of Aries the ram, sheep or lamb at the Vernal Equinox. This is the day that light and warmth finally over powers the sin of the earth, the cold and darkness of Autumn and Winter. Now the days are as long as the nights and the next day will be longer than the nights. Jesus is called the lamb of god who takes away the sin of the Earth.
During the sign of Taurus (May) we begin to see the head of Aquarius. You will recall that in the Jesus story Aquariums is personified by John the Baptist. It seems as if Aquarius is beheaded by the horizon. Then he rises until by July he is fully visible above the horizon. In Matthew 14 John the Baptist is beheaded by Herod. Then Herod hearing the reports about Jesus's miracles declares that it is John the Baptist risen from the dead.(underworld, below the horizon)
Right after Taurus the sun walks on the water (the Milkyway)
At the Summer Solstice the sun is at its highest point in the sky. From here it will decline but things will still seem happy for the three months of Summer. Jesus goes to the top of the mountain and is transfigured. He predicts his death. But we can't see or accept its happening.
We see in Jesus dual nature as both god and man the twins of the Gemini.
In Babylonian astrology the sign of Cancer is represented by two @$$es. Aselius Boreeas and Aselius Australlis. One of which can be said to be a colt. In the Jesus story we see Jesus entering triumphantly into Jerusalem (where he predicted he will die) riding on the donkey and the colt.
The sun is in Libra during the time of the harvest of grapes. While everyone's mind is on grapes and the vines the grapes grow on Jesus feels it is fitting to call himself the true vine
Have you ever wondered why it was necessary for Judas to betray Jesus? It seems totally superfluous. Everybody knew who Jesus was. why would the priest pay smaddy thirty pieces of silver to point out a cat that anybody could have done for free? Because Judas (one of the twelve) is a personification of Scoropio (one of the twelve). Jesus (the sun) has to go through Scorpio. The sun has to go through all twelve houses even the one where it will be stung by the scorpion and slowly die. After the sun leaves scorpio it descends below the horizon (dies). As the personification of scorpio Judas must also die.
The term Pilate means armed with a spear (
