I feel like he should not have been banned and if this is an open forum as we say. No one will get mad at me for my opinion. Also since we have moderators I am not telling anyone how to do there job, but why would we ban him?

I understand the rules and I was banned before as well and started a new name. Like a lot of other RhymeBad and the lot. The brother has put a lot into the site, and I feel like for what he did should have been granted a pass.

Unity as we speak should be the good outweighing the bad, and everyone has a mishap, but to ban him for two weeks isn't right. I never understand why do we Ban people that bring a lite at the end of the tunnel.

Poetic Legend ... you're not alone, others feel as though he should not have been banned either.

I on the other hand, feel as though we should not have to ask, beg, or plead with Members that know the rules, to abide by them.

We won't be doing that anymore, no matter how long someone has been here.

For those that have no respect for the rules, breaking them at will, then the consequences for doing such, will have no respect for them.

I hope this helps you understand, if not let me know.

    Much Love and Peace.

I feel what you are saying if this will be a site wide thing then i can feel that if someone messes up then they just get banned that's cool with me.
Thanks for clearing this up for me!

P.S. Drop it to one week :qqb020:

Yes, it will be site wide ... and that's a great suggestion ... one week (at least for first offenses).

We'll think about that ... (i'm loving it) ... Thanks for Sharing!

One of many things I like about this site is that it has a family feel and foolishness is not tolerated. It's sad when folks get suspended or banned. But what is worse is the stimulous that encouraged the banning activity.

    I hear ya Sis...

The majority of us who are here, and have been here for quite some time know full and well how things can get when our people come together. We are so used to taking things personal, and allowing our emotions to come out over the net. What is most interesting about this is many of us are not as "aggressive" off-line as we are online. I can tell you, for example, that anyone who knows me off-line knows that I am a very vocal person (just as I can be here), but I am also very reserved, and likely to withdraw from disputes when I know verbal chaos is just around the corner. I say that to your point that it is not great when we have to ban and suspend members here, but what I am also saying is I have a feeling if this were to take place in person, we would not come off as strong as we do online.

There are many things here that I may have a problem with or completely disagree with, however the fact remains that I must maintain a sense of respect to the members, as well as what they add to the site.

    Just dropping my .2-

Since yall try'n to count another man's (unused) money, why not just ask DSS how much money he lost, when he returns.

I'm sure he won't mind sharing that information with you.
