Bread Pasta Recipe : Smack Yo Mama Macaroni and Cheese

I'm interested in making this brotha Rad but I don't know if that veggie cheese will work. Will that stuff actually melt? And what can I use in lieu of an egg?

Yes it will if you use Soy Milk to help it melt better. The only reason eggs are used is to give the dish firmness and help it stay together. I like my Mac-n-Cheez with a creamy texture so I never used a lot of eggs anyway.. I suggest a product called egg-like, which is potato starch or corn starch. You can also use vegan sour cream and vegan cream cheese to give the dish a smooth and creamy texture as well. It probably ain't mama's recipe but you will eliminate all of the cholesterol, 80-90% of the fat from the dish and add more muscle building protein to the dish. Just a way to replace the foods that we love with healthier versions of themselves.

Bon Appetite my sista......

Only because I have much love for ya'll, will I go into the my vault of recipe and share them.

Ingredients:

3 cups of large elbow macaroni noodles

3 cups of shredded mild Cheddar cheese

2 cups of shredded Moneterrey Jack cheese

1 8 oz. block of Colby Cheese

1 8 oz. block of Monterrey Jack cheese

1 16 oz. container of Sour Cream

1 jumbo egg beaten

2 tsps of ground white pepper

1 dash of black pepper

Instructions:

Boil the noodles for 15-20 mins, then drain. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F for 10mins. Then put noodles in a 4 quart baking dish or pan and add the sour cheese, 2 cups of the mild Cheddar cheese, the shredded Moneterrey Jack, the white pepper and the jumbo egg. Mix throughly then add the block cheeses after they been diced into 1 inch cubes. Mix again and place into the oven for 10 mins. Remove from the oven then stir. Spread the remaining cup of Cheddar cheese on the top and sprinkle the dash of black pepper on top as well. Place the dish back in the oven at 425-450 degrees F for 20-25 mins or until top layer of cheese is melt and starting to brown. Remove from the oven, cool for 5 mins and serve. This recipe serves 8 to 10 people but if you're like me and love mac and cheese it will serve 4 to 6 people. All the ingredients can be substituded with fat free products for a low calorie dish. If prepared right once you take a taste it'll make you want to smack yo mama. (just kidding of course)

Bon Appetite....

Ok i guess it is a recipe...cool i was doing what i learn from my mother and grandma and putting me in it....I use the Colby Cheese to help cut the oil in the Cheddar cheese and the Monterey Jack cheese for some zest and then i melt butter (promise) and mix it with the sour cream and can milk like a sauce
