(About a dear friend of mine)

    I watched him
With eyes I wished were blind
    Fall
    Plummet
Exchanging the precious for the profane
    Dazed in a chemical stupor
He searched for Heaven in Hell
He searched for answers with questions
He searched for life among the dying....

    Helplessly I watched him
    Inhale death
    Exhale life
    Nurture lying thoughts
    And betray his spirit
    I watched him
With eyes I wished were blind
    Commit
    Gradual
    Painful
    Slow
    Suicide!

The skillful way in which you report every nuance excites me.

You are a fine poet indeed.

    Thanks fam.
The subject of this poem isn't dead though.
    He's just killing himself slowly.
Sorry if this seems morbid...just had to get it out
