    Sentiments of slow dancing in dark,
    holding love close as arms intertwine,
    eyes focussed on the center of dreams
    moving effortlessly to the melody;

    Each word of the song speaks to you
    as thoughts of walks in fallen leaves
    and holding hands in winter nights
    paint pictures of eternal adoration;

    Strong arms of security, confidence
    embraces his love closer, tighter to
    signify his promise of tomorrow as
    she finds comfort within his frame;

    She lends caution to the wind as she
    becomes lighter with each step and
    allows him to maneuver her with joy
    and trust built within his confidence;

    Their bodies melt into one as she seeks
    to dig deeper into his frame and he holds
    her closer, tighter within his arms so she
    can hear the intermittent beating of his heart;

    If you look close you may find the place
    where he ends and she begins but that will
    not occur until the last note of their song is
    played by the closing of their eyes eternally.

    how true and many never realize how much they love someone until they are gone...

    life together is one slow dance to the tunes of our hearts. i pray everyone will find that one for them...

    still looking for my slow dance partner...

    i've had TWO and let both get away...actually, i walked away....now i await the day...when another slow dancer will come my way.

    read an article the other day;
    "Are Black Men failing their families?"

    working on a piece around this issue...a reality that we don't want to deal with...that i reacted negatively to...because it labeled ME a failure...when it wasn't really about ME as a person but US as a group...BLACK MEN. it was a hard pill to swallow...but the REAL of it is that it's TRUE...to the degree that they expressed it.

    sorry for the tangent.

    no problem poet...

    you spoke truth...I too have walked away from dance partners. My reason? Becuase we danced to different songs. I shall dance alone until my true God-sent dance partner arrives.

    Until then, no more dances for me...

    thanks for the read poet and the info...
