I feel the walls closing in. I hear the ceiling crashing down. My life is changing all the way around. In its turbulence, I sense I may drown. I try to stay strong and not look back. If I do, I will witness all the pieces of my life slipping through the dirty cracks. I stand still as I hear the rumble of a far away train. The echo of its approaching whistle, I listen to in vain. I fall to my knees and begin to pray. I long to be among its precious cargo. As the roar of its engine fades away, I wonder, when my prayer is answered, just how far will I go?
