While the Bible records human sin, war, and injustice, it does not mean God endorses them. Many harsh laws were given to ancient Israel to regulate an already broken world (Matthew 19:8). But God’s ultimate will is justice and mercy (Micah 6:8).
Jesus came to reveal God's true nature: “The Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.” – Luke 9:56
Evil exists in the Bible because it exists in the world. But God’s plan through Christ is to redeem, not to oppress (Galatians 3:28, Revelation 21:4).

How is the bible or god not endorsing slavery when it it tells you from where to get and how to treat your slaves but, at no point teaches you NOT to do it?!?
