most africans neva got free/
think,if u r free then how come u live in a contry
ur forefather was slaved in n u cant leave
a country ruled by slave master n they kids
u work ur *** off 4 a white own company n at the end of the week
they get all the benefits
now it dont matter if u a rich basketball,football,baseball playa or a rich rapper
makin millions buyin expensive cars,jewellery n houses da dude who write ur
check is ur master
u cant leave n u wont leave cuz da slave mentality is still there
u cant start ur own business or do anythin on ya own cuz u scared
u been scared for 400 years
now let me use my own country(Ghana) as an example
we have gain independence for almost 50 years
n develop is a destination we still not there
today in africa white people buy gold n diamond from da continent
we r cheated everyday because of our weak n corrupted Government
our votes gave them power 2 help out
but because they r greedy n selfish they become sell outs
lyin 2 us,makin empty promises n as soon as they r incharge
they forget about da nation n they live large.

howcome u neva came 2 africa yet u want images from africa.
y dont u come c africa with ya own eyes.

this poem may sound racist.honestly is not.
All I WANT IS FOR BLACKPEOPLE/US TO UNITE so we can stop the killing and all this hate.
WE ARE LOSIN GREAT PEOPLE DAILY.
i dont blame all white people
for what some white people did and r still doin.
ive seen a white woman on a talk show sayin her apologies for what her
people did to blackpeople/us/my people and i know some white people feel the same way too.

this might be my last time here at destee.
i will not answer 2 some of ur posts.so dont bother.

It's unfortunate that you both feel that "we" black folks have a slave mentality. There are many of us who don't have that mentality at all. We are the one's who truly do become successful. We could never convince those of you who think the way you do, that a black person actually can accomplish things on his (her) own.

Working for a white man doesn't make him your master. I have white people working for me, I don't consider them my slaves, nor do I feel that way about the black folks who work or have worked for me. If you believe in white supremacy, you are your own worst enemy.

There are many interesting topics on this site. Like every other site I've visited, there are those whose main focus in life is sex, but that's not illegal. We should all be interested in money, especially since you brought up the subject of a "slave mentality", more interest in money would put a quick end to the "slave mentality" syndrome

All have a brokeness due to slavery. Some are healing at different levels. It is hard to avoid the consequences of slavery they affect us all in different ways. I guess the important thing is to be present in our lives and avoid the pitfalls that come against us. we each are responsible for our own growth and helping to emit some kind of light to others.


Two days ago I learned I have a 8 year old sister somewhere in Jamaica

I asked if she recieved any support from my father before he died

A lot of people are fussing over the 2 and 1/2 year old boy

In my family and my country the boy is the valued one...... TAkes individuals to make changes...... So now that i have this knkowledge it behooves me to figure out where she is and let her know she is valued
