If he stays there will be trouble
    Congo’s president refuses to go

The constitution says Joseph Kabila is no longer president. He begs to differ

... For now Mr Kabila, who has ruled Congo since inheriting the job from his dad in 2001, has the upper hand. But Congo, an unstable country of 80m, is plunging into a political no-man’s-land; no head of state since independence has left office peacefully after an election ...

In my view, Ethiopia's GERD will change the tide of power in East and North Africa from being arab dominated to African dominated, the Egyptians whined and howled and complained, even threatened war and to bomb the dam. But if Ethiopia can get this dam up and running they can cut Egypt off at the knees and end the Arab colonization of Africa in the long term.

In my view, it is the most significant event, probably of the entire century. Ethiopia has been trying to build that **** from the 1950s and successive arab and British states have hindered them and stopped them. The Egyptian arabs are on borrowed time.
