Black Women : Sisters, if the B-Word simply means a female dog, why is the word so offensive sometimes?

Hello John Williams welcome to Destee.com. I understand what you are saying but you are talking apples and oranges. When a man greats another man with what’s up dog? That never had negative connotations and was a street thing among players/hustlers/gangsters etc. the term B@#$ has always been derogatory like whore pronounced ho on the street which is a garden tool. Also it is how it is used in a sentence.
