Thessalonika Arzu-Embry is up at 5 in the morning most weekdays to go to school. Unlike most 14-year-olds, however, Thessalonika isn't off to the local high school. She's going to Chicago State University, where she's putting the final touches on her

It appears you're wrong about the standardized tests. In the US, home schooled children do better.

An interesting fact is that in Finland, their public schools do better than US children overall. They are #1. So it's not about public vs. home school in my opinion. It's how the schools are structured and what sort of programs are provided.

Still can't post links even though I have 10 posts!?

To pass the standardized tests, you need to study for them as the child's parent.

After that, you relay the teaching to your child during their homeschooling.

There is no reason why every black child in America can't succeed like this wonderful young woman.
