All brothers and sisters, especially the younger ones need to view this video, a young sister that fell into the trap of greed and immorality, found out the hard way about the porn industry and pornography as a whole, that they gloss up in the media......The video is 31:14 and i feel whenever you get the time, and hopefully right away, you watch the whole video

    I appreciate this information.

Now, I understand that the stripping industry and the porn industry are different but the following story is relevant anyway.

I was actually talking to someone (an adult) a couple of year ago, not about stripping as a profession or a spectator sport, but about the strippers themselves.

I asked him if he thought that these women like taking their clothes off for a living? He said yes they do. They love it. He said "you can tell by the look on their faces that they absolutely love it" And all I could think was wow. The idea that strippers are actors seems to have never entered his mind.

There are many people who see the adult entertainment industry as exploitation but still participate in it. For those people, I think that they must dehumanize the object of their fantasies in order to squelch the guilt that they feel about participating in it and funding it.

When we see and hear real accounts of what these entertainers go through, it makes it very real to us that these woman can be someone’s mother, sister, auntie or loved one.

How it this relevant to the stripping industry? And you said NOW you understand them to be different... did you think they were the same or similar before?

"Now" has no meaning in that sentence. Its just a word filler. I often write the way that I speak.

The stripping industry (maybe thats not the right term) and the porn industry are two different industries but they have a lot of similarities.

    Hi sis warriorprincess
i agree that the stripper "industry" and porn industry are related. I think some girls do like being strippers, no doubt. many don't. but what a lot of guys don't know is that many strippers are gay. i never new this until a good friend, a lesbian, and I started hangin out together alot. I started to get to know some of her friends and the tight knit lesbian community. anyways, one night she invited me to the tropicana, a strip club in hollywood, to see her friend work. on the way she told me how most of the girls were gay, and enjoyed teasing the guys and taking their money.

Hmm...this is interesting info. Do you think that if more people knew it, the industry would be affected negatively?

I'm not so sure that it would. A lot of people who entertain or watch the entertainment have completely detached the bodies from the humanity of the person anyway. I think they only see body parts moving around.

Also.....since I like to make connections. I think this is the reason that some people have no qualms about sexual relationships with underaged young adults. They see body parts but they do not see childhood, innocence, potential, or life.

A further connection, I also think that this is why some heterosexual men will sleep with women who are not biologically female. “Who cares if this was a man last year, it’s a woman this year and all the part are in place!” Do people also know that a lot of the people who provide sexual tourism are transgender?

The one main and important similarity i see between the two is often a man who goes to see strippers will often be the ones with a ton of porn somewhere - be it computer, movies, books.

Stripping is not really an industry, porn is. The entire thing is called the ADULT ENTERTAINMENT industry but there is a diff between stripping and porn and the main diff is that you exposed to a lot less diseases and physical ailments that come along with porn. As a stripper (strictly, not the side stuff), you don't really have to interact with anyone, you come to work, pull off your clothes off while dancing, go home, get paid on friday. I see stripping as a respectable job.. very similar to working at Hooters.

I could almost see porn as a respectable job.... but I was already pretty much aware of the behind scenes goings on in the commercial porn industry. I'm surprised it's still striving with the advent of the internet and people making their own stuff.

You'll read this and think it all boils own to this one sentence or paragraph but it's actually a little deeper than that...but here goes... I'm actually intersted in the adult entertainment industry. I occassionally entertain the thoughts of being a porn director or producer but it's a more likely route that if I were to do this it would be a stripper club.

As for directing.... I know what I like to see and I'm not seeing enough of it. Most porn is directed towards men... whom I'm told are very visual. That's why you get a lot of 'money shots' when it comes to porn. I'm less interested in the moneyshots and more interested in the loving tender aspects of it like I see in a regular movie... albeit more explicit.

there was no pornography or prostitution in precolonial Africa, and since getting busy was something so natural, there was no word for sev in many cultures there.

According to Jomo Kenyatta in "Faceing Mount Kenya" the Kikuyu people of Kenya, traditionally orchestrated for the youth

un chaperoned .... well what we used to cal "hookie parties", with equal numbers of male and female post intitiation teens.

The term missionary position came into effect, from the colonists fear of non white women in Asia and Africs having strong libidos, and having the tendency to be "rough riders"
