    Hello Sisters of Destee.

We have Sister Chat on Monday's at 8:00 pm EST. ALL Sisters are welcome !!!

We would LOVE to see more participation in the chat so would you take a moment to respond to the following questions:

    1. On a scale to 1-10, how high is the Sister Chat on your list of priority ?
    _____

    2. What are some topics you would like to see discussed ?

    3. Is Monday the best day for you ? Is 8:00 EST a good time?

    4. What can we do to get more participation in the Monday chat if none of the above is an issue ?

If I missed anything, feel free to bring it up here it so we can discuss..! We would love to see all sisters in chat !!!!

    1) Honestly, it has not been a priority for me cuz my plate is full right now
    2) What topics have you covered to date? How about the role of womben in society? Or womben leadership? Getting our womben out of the porn industry. Keeping your sanity as a single parent, healing our sexuality, regaining lost sense of self after trauma? :10500:
    3) I was in school until 9 Monday nights, but that is changing
    4) I will commit to attending at least 2 sister chats over the next month.

I wish i could say it was at the top, but i have so many responsibilities here. It is important to me though, and oh so very relaxing, hanging out with my Sisters when i do get the chance.

I haven't been feeling well lately, and am behind on a lot of projects that the Family has been working on, and unfortunately, waiting for me on. I know i will be busy with them over the next little while, but please know Sisters Chat is important to me, as all things here are.

I enjoy talking about anything, but i especially like Sister VIDA's hot and spicy chat, with a twist of kuntree mixed in! :D

The day and time is fine with me.

If i could get some of these other irons out of the fire, i believe they can help encourage more participation in Sister Chat ... so even if i aint there ... i'm working on stuff that should help it and us! :D

You know what Sister Linda ... i think it's really awesome what the Brothers are doing, providing minutes and stuff ... that's really hot! Just reading those are an encouragement. Perhaps if Sister Chat did something like that each week too? Now, i aint trying to give nobody no work, i'm just say'n, it would be really great if'n anyone agrees with me. Just reading those, may draw more Sisters in ... QQ'n @ Sister CherryBlossom ... :)

Also Sister ... don't let the low turnout disappoint you. I believe Sisters will get in gear. After all, Sister Chat was first on destee, before Brother Chat, even though they are leaving us in the dust right now ... it's not always been this way.

Sisters Sisters Sisters ... please do take the time to join in Sister Chat!

    Love You!

    Greetings SiS LindaChavis!

In response to your survey I have this to say:

    1. 4 There was a time when that number was quite higher however, circumstances have changed and priorities changed.

    2. My priority in life is dealing with my RELATIONSHIPS with others. Supporting HEALTHY and EFFECTIVE Communications. Working through barriers that keep Folks of Afreekan Descent divided.

    3. Monday at 8 worked just fine.

    4. Since I have "issues", (# 1,2) I can not really address this question.

Another "issue" I have is maintaining the safety and integrity of my computer. Being in chat rooms has comprised that so I stay out of them for the most part. I do not have tech support that I can afford consistently so I have to take other routes to maintain safety.

I desire to see SiStah's chat running full steam as you all and wish you much success. Maybe try "series" discussions and start with a focus on CHILDREN.
I don't have any of my own, yet, It seems WOMEN LOVE TO TALK ABOUT THEIR CHILDREN. For one month at a time, there could be a topic to WORK THROUGH as opposed to one time discussions held weekly. Stuff get's started that one meeting and if someone did not attend, they may not know the discussion will continue.

    M.E.
