Received in an email from a friend today....She says:

"Very interesting, the things they admit when people are not paying close attention. Check out the article for yourself."

    7 Cities About to Sink
    By Miriam B. Weiner

"Many of us take for granted the notion that all of our beloved cities will be around for centuries to come. However, cities around the world seem to be vying for the title of "The Next Atlantis." Shaky foundations and encroaching seas are posing significant threats to some of the world's largest and most beloved cities. When planning your next vacation, keep in mind that some of the world's favorite destinations have a bit of a ticking clock on them. Here are seven major cities that are preparing to take the plunge."

Very interesting. I have family in New York and I don't live too far from Houston just south of me.

I notice it didn't list any cities on the Left coast. Was Charles Manson wrong? Are they okay out there on Planet California?

    Where will you go
    If there's no Frisco?
    Where will you stay
    If there's no L.A.?

    Can you do the swim?
    You better learn quick, Jim

Sound like your headed for a double whamy if this is correct and comes to pass.

I'm predicting volcanoes to hit the west!

    Thanks for Sharing!
Is that a verse from a song?

    New Orleans/NY City/and Houston

Well, the first has already taken a direct hit....anything more and it just may sink.

Houston has a long history of excessive flooding...I wouldn't be surprised.

    NYC...Well, you never know.

No one was prepared for the hurricane that hit the New England coast back in the 1930s either.....The East River actually flooded into Manhattan and some other boroughs.

Yes, there are hundreds of volcanoes up in the Pacific Northwest.

I am up in the Northeast corner of Texas. When I first moved here a man said we are in the driveway of Tornado alley. Yet no tornado had come to this town since 1982.

I've been through 2 major earthquakes when I lived in California so there is really no where on this planet we can go where there is not something.

That verse is a song my father used to sing when I was a kid. Back then D.C. was protected from hurricanes by the mountains. That too might be changing.

Mama Earth! You know all this time I been trying to figure out what M.E. stands for. And I'm usually good at stuff like that.
