Let's hear it for the brother
Who has a child with no mother
Who uses his strength
To take them fu'ther
His pride is long
He will never let them down
Wiping tears
Turning frowns
He carries them
His arms are strong
He leads them right
Never wrong
His daughters will be queens
His sons kings
They will prosper
As long as freedom rings
They'll be his reflection
They'll have his strength
They'll have his integrity
And know no length
For this is the work
Of a real man
A single father
Gives life with strong hands
