I feel as if I am singing in the rain
Seeing the radiant sunshine
And then attracting the enemy

All I can do is open up my heart
Tired of evasive minds
Trying to persuade me to stay

With them

In secret

To drown in their stinging passion

I'm tired of feeling left out
I'm tired of silent cries
I shout at the top of my lungs

I'm tired
I'm tired

Of being bothered
By people
Who only want to bring me down

I need you

You-

Wherever you are

I need you to come
And erase these tears

I hide in the darkness

I drown out my sorrow
By my laughter

Isn't it obvious
The reason I am standing here

Sweet melodies
Only to keep a good face

I'll try pleasantly
To have joy

I'll try deeply
Not to look so pitiful

And please
Please

Don't look down on me

All I need is a friend

To listen

To care

Just to know I'm here

Sincerely yours

Singing in the rain

Desert Storm...

Sits quietly

Desert Storm
This flow has so much going on.
It is powerful.
Many lines I relate to
One does get tired.

I drown out my sorrow
By my laughter

Isn't it obvious
The reason I am standing here

Sweet melodies
Only to keep a good face

I'll try pleasantly
To have joy

I'll try deeply
Not to look so pitiful

And please
Please

Don't look down on me

All I need is a friend

To listen

To care

Just to know I'm here
