    sing sistah sing
sing for those who have no voice
sing of things i hide inside
    where pride and solace rejoice

yes... sing me a sweet lullaby

    tell truths of masked emotions
    swimming in murky water
where lust not love is ordered

um...let your hook walk me to the bridge

a balance of earth under each note
    foretelling the reparations for birth
as africa rises from your throat

oh...sway my thoughts to your groove

swing my hips with your lines
    still my loneliness
with your tunes of love in time

    sing oh yes sistah sing

    My dearest $$RICH$$,

As poets, we have been gifted a wonderful blessing...the ability to sing using the written word. Thank goodness, too, because if I had to rely on my natural voice to sing...I would be in serious trouble. Thank you, for singing along with me.

    Sister Alyce,

I hear her voice in your words; and I am moved. Thank you ever so much.
