I am the night sky which envelopes the earth
Under my wings reside the planets moons and stars
My imaginations brings about changes
My words brings about revolution
Without me there can be no day
I am asset though they deem me a liablility
They fear me not for what I am, but for what I shall become
They call me ******, negro, tarbaby, and spook
But don’t stop there for I am much more
I am beautiful, I am royalty, I am poetry
Created in the Master’s image and in his likeness
The greatest name that I could ever be called is
Simply Black.
