All I ever seem to see outside my nest is silhouettes,
forbidden statuettes that try and test my reverence
for this love that’s heaven sent, yet to an extent I second guess
whether I’m ready to digress or let this lust just manifest.
Oh how I detest the evils of these sinful silhouettes,
and it’s the weakness of the flesh I wish I never had to test.
Never the less the thought of uncharted parts of a heart, I must confess,
makes it hard to digest this quest for love when outside I’m in complete distress.
Whether it’s left or right, in the day or at night,
I have the plight of silhouettes.
My subconscious request to confront this subject in an objective,
    introspective, collective type of method,
is redirected when these lustful thoughts are erected.
This erected state of mind leaves me blind to silhouettes,
blind to the deviance at my expense that they profess.
The outer beauty of these silhouettes outside my nest,
possessing such finesse and causing stress within my flesh,
    I contest these silhouettes,
but they cloud my mind when I’m at rest.
And arrest the very tool that gets me through this worldly stress.
I’m blessed within my nest but these silhouettes are out to test,
caressing my pupils, teaching visual lessons that violate my scruples.
Oh what am I to do, to subdue these silhouettes?
I simply manifest the happiness within my nest,
and remember that I’m blessed beyond compare when they stare,
with a love that rare and one who cares sincerely for this pair.
So I’ll ignore the silhouettes that may appear before this King,
and realize they don’t compare to the silhouette of my Queen.

    I'm diggin this concept...
    the thing about sillouettes
are that they can be so
    deceiving...
    they appear to be what
    you think they should be
    but they are never quite
    like the real thing...
    but the mystery keeps
    us lured...
    love the way you wove
    a level of consciousness
    into this flow...

    Nice work!
