You left me without saying goodbye
but somehow in my mind
I knew it wouldn't last
see I was on some cloud
smoking purple haze and dreaming of you
fantasizing about rainbows and tulips
but you were just sleeping
When I returned to reality
I fell from your natural high
and the cloud I was on began to rain
we began to drift apart
you started to blow my high
and I no longer saw you the way I once did
I wish I would've listened to the
blessings of my 3rd eye
but I ignored the warnings
cuz I loved flying...I finally got my wings
But they were clipped by your non-existent sensitivity
cuz you left me without saying goodbye
but now it's my turn to let go
and my goodbyes are so loud
the heavens will hear them
I finally realized I DON'T NEED you
cuz I'm soaring high and flying
You never gave me wings
I already had them
