I had a conversation with a friend recently. We talked about Men helping women while dating. He feels that If a women needs help she should ask. I feel that weather she asks or not if you know she is in a bind and you have the means to help, you should do so.

Just wanted to know what do you think?

does this work both ways?

yes it does work both ways. However I'm asking this for a reason.
in the courting world men and women meet and go out all the time. what happens when the women is in a situation and would benefit from some emotion spiritual and/or financial help does she need to ask and if she doesn't would it be safe to assume that she doesn't need the help. should he as A Man and potential provider inquire about what he can do......Remember he knows whats going on their building.

heck no. A potential provider is not a provider.. hahaha.. in fact, I dont buy this whole idea of being provided for.. for nothin'.. just for being a woman? no both ways about it, as you know if a man you were dating asked for help you'd likely run a mile.

Now.. in a 'relationship'.. that is something else.. in which case I'd expect both to know and understand the hardships of the other.. thus offer.. without guile.. so help/support each other.
