    Elder James,
In light of your recent statements regarding President Obama and the US Government, I can’t help but wonder if you would still advocate for reforming this system?

If not, in your opinion, at this point, what should be done to end this horrible suffering in the world, especially amoung our kin folk?

    Ankhur,

What you have suggested is not new. Afrikans’ the world over have been advocating these same concepts, repeatedly. In your opinion, what has/is preventing us from organizing, mobilizing, and manifesting?

haha, what a strange question and here is an answer,we been studying white folk since we got off the boat but we haven't learned anything while we are planning what party we're going to next friday, the whiteman is planning what black community he's gonna take and OWN for the next hundred YEARS,while we are investing our money in the LOTTERY so we can buy a new big screen tv the whiteman is investing his money in STOCKS so that he can own the company that sells us that big screen...we think small we sit up here talking about how much we put into this economy oh we good with those figures so take some of those billions and put it into the same thing he does, but no we can't we gotta run to get our nails done and get those new jordans,we gotta look good while we studying the whiteman.

    the reason is simple

1 Lack of focus on the real issies for longer then 5 minutes and

2 we embrace our petty differences and atitudes of disunity more then we embrace our children and our siginificant others

When we let go of that, everything else will fall into place, and we will have something for ourselves and exist as a a national and Global village, of recirprocity and collective prosperity

    Uhuru to all,

I'm reminded of Ancestor Marcus Garvey and the UNIA, Black Wallstreet, the Black Panther Party, the Uhuru Movement, etc.. It would not be entirely accurate to suggest that we have never tried. Nor would it be accurate to suggest that no one is currently doing "what is neccesary to build our self's stronger then we are now!".

Ancestor Kwame Nkrumah attempted to prepare us with his work Neo-Colonialism, the Last Stage Of imperialism. Look around the world, the American and European puppet regimes are falling! Capitalism/imperialism is on it's death bed! And as elder James has noticed the good ole US of A will not be the exception.

The MAJOR contradiction that we must address: After the "people rise up", i.e. North Afrika, Southern Sudan, umm..america perhaps, what political, economical, educational, social system will the "people" be prepared to implement? Specifically, as Afrikan people, what will we be prepared to implement for ourselves if and when this systems falls?

Will we only seek to imitate our former oppressors system, much like many of the Afrikan nations erroneously did during the Afrikan Independence era? Replacing white, oppressive, bourgeoisie capitalist with black ones? Perhaps once again, will we waste the opportunity to truly be free due to a lack of cohesive preparation, allowing the beast to recover and retain his status quo (I'm reminded of the Million Man March). Or even worst sit back and allow some other "people" to step in and become our new oppressors.

    more later..
