    ****... the aftershock of bliss
    the judge spits
    the family splits..
he's now eating off brand grits...
    she's having madd emotional fits...
    somebody cheated...
nothing new though just a repeated historical cycle...
    ****...
should a wedding band mean you're single???
she approaches me to the rhythm of the melodic mingle
as i try and resist the temptation jingle
for when your true love is gone the spine-tingle from the affair zaps away..
so put the "road maps" away
and keep it at home where you stay
    ****....
he draws her to the stare... her eyes have that seductive glare which
    has him thinking
it's sounds ill but... ***** has driven men to drinking
    and driving
contemplating nose-diving from the sears tower
due to the effects of its pleasure and power... and in the river
    he's sinking with the final
mental pictures of her invitational winking
this river is stinking with betrayal

my ring is bling but it doesn't shine more than the king wearing it...
it takes a real man to say no
" you wouldn't have to go if you didn't come in the first place
it takes a real woman to say "i don't think so"
knowing that sacrificing her family is the worst case scenario....
    so let's sing it..
    :dj:
throw your wedding bands in the aiiirrrr
cuz he or she really don't even caarre...
if you got a husband or got a wife
    somebody say " let's shaarre "

Da band of de wedd is not a single glair but a bonding flair
often da moments of heated desires move through da bliss
of notions where true love live but da motion of love is live
and u only look wit da notions but honoring da vows of thee
nope it don't mean dat !

Had to laugh to myself about the "throw your wedding bands in the air" part. A wedding band means you don't share. If there are problems then one works on them within the marriage, not outside of it. Posed on point, poet.

In the past we use to say: "Get all you can get",
but today the same game is called "Russian Roullette"

I can't feel at ease, with the stakes so high,
A few careless moments... causes many to die!

And who gives us the right, to take another's life,
cause you can't be true to your Husband or Wife?

(Don't it make ya wanna say: hmmmmm)

Nice drop poet, enjoyed flowing with ya

    Very interesting,poet.
In my family, we don't know divorce.
My auntie and the kids moved in my uncle's
new girlfriend's house when she tried to divorce her.
Then, she kicked the girlfriend out.
My auntie took those vows seriously, too bad others don't.
