    Upside down and inside out
Everything appears dreadful without a doubt
The things I knew to be consistent are no longer the same
But better days will come in Jesus' name

Times are a changin' from hour to hour
Nobody has even a moment to stop and smell the flowers
Some say the roses have dried up and totally been consumed
But I looked a little closer and saw they were in full bloom

Others proclaimed the fruit had fallen to the ground rancid stricken
But when I tasted it for myself it was ripe and ready for the pickin'
I'm not making light of a dreadful situation
Just like others I have my doubts and reservations

But one thing that we know to be constant is change
So there is no need to get out of sorts and deranged
Change brings forth insecurities of the unknown
But instead of hiding we should run to it like a dog chases a bone

Grab change by the horns and proclaim our victory!
For having an open and positive attitude is really the key
A.T.T.I.T.U.D.E is what really needs to be checked
For a negative outlook will make anything appear shipwrecked!

LovesDestiny - You have captured with poetic beauty the bane of many human beings, attitude. If a plane or ship strays, the gyro instrument corrects and brings it back on course. When we humans stray, it is our attitude that corrects and brings us back on course. Defective attitudes of ships can be found at the bottom of oceans and defective attitudes of humans can be found as shipwrecks lying on the pavements of big city streets. You did real good with this LD. So glad you've got a positive attitude here. Namyh

can i say what he said. I 'm feeling this lyrical food for thought and i embrace the message of positive attitude. Because part of living life to the fullest is how you look at it.

Thank goodness for a positive attitude. I myself generally have one despite doubts or reservations. But if the situation is dreadful, of course it is more difficult to be positive, one never knows what another is going through until they have walked in their shoes. Keep that positivity flowing.

I've wrecked my ship more times than I know,
but it was the wrecking of that ship, that made me grow.

    If 1+1 = 3 in your book
and southern recipes is what you cook,

    A
    n
    d

If that's what it took too bring your ship in,
then victory is your's ...^5 :toast: ...you win.

Now I and my ship had a battle at hand,
as to which of us should be in demand!

I always went one way, yep my ship went another,
as it continued to wreck...I had to run for cover.

It took years upon years to learn this wise tip...
to use both my hands, to stir my own ship!

Great piece poet, enjoyed the read.
