Is the favorite in the women's 800m actually a man?
    By Chris Chase

The favorite in the women's 800m at the world track championships will run under suspicion that she's actually a man.

After bursting onto the scene with the world's fastest time three weeks ago at a junior meet, South Africa's Caster Semenya, 18, has been dogged by gender-swapping accusations. She will undergo complex gender testing (it's not as easy as you'd think) after her race tonight, but the results won't be available for a few weeks. Semenya had the fastest qualifying time of the eight competitors

    wow.

Well, no she's not the most feminine of females.

However, if she is a woman, my heart goes out to her for having to go through this.

If "she" is really a man, shame on him and goody for any repercussions he faces.

Semenya "hermaphrodite" report angers South Africa

    By Wendell Roelf

KLEINMOND, South Africa (Reuters) - South Africa responded angrily on Friday to a newspaper report that tests on world champion runner Caster Semenya had found she was a hermaphrodite, with both male and female sexual characteristics.

Athletics' governing body declined to confirm the report in Australia's Daily Telegraph. The IAAF said medical experts were examining the results of gender tests on Semenya, who won the women's 800 meters at last month's World Championships in Berlin. No decision would be taken until late November.

In the Spirit of Sankofa and Truth!

Actually, the court is still out on whether or not Semenya is male or female:

The issue here is that this girl has undesirable levels of testosterone -- what does it matter? That is neither here not there. She does not have a womb -- so what?," he said.

Oh well, if she is a male, the repercussions are warranted, let's hope she is a female.

When I 1st heard about this it made me angry. I was upset for two reasons:

    1. If this is a Sistah, this pink devils have suceeded in degrading her and alot of our ppl are on the bandwagon supporting this.

    2. If this is a Brother, what in the h*ll is going on that makes a man portray himself as such?

All this came about because She (until proven otherwise) beat the pants off of some pink devils, smdh. I was jus watching tennis wit my wife and had to ask if that was a dude in a skirt. I haven't seen anyone question this pink persons sexuality or any previous that I can think of.

The bottom line is this African was "Degraded, Disrespected, and made a Spectucal of by these pink nasty devils, where is the outrage for that?
