    She transformed markings
    Into letters
    To make words
    And build sentences

    Yeah…she did that.

    She composed
    Pages of paragraphs
    And called them chapters
    To describe what happened after
    The first sentence ended

    She wrote a novel
    And called it a story
And the audience applauded the way
    Strings
    Became
    Letters
    Became
    Sentences
    Became
    Paragraphs
    Became
    Chapters
    That told the story
    Of the writer
    Who wrote a novel
    About love

    As I deciphered her intellect
    From rejected concepts
I saw the depths of her soul
    And realized
The fusion of she and I
    Would never be
    So…I walked away
    Feeling incomplete
    Without reason
    Coz I knew going in
She wasn’t the one for me.

    Still…

    She made her mark.

THANKS for the love, poets...glad you enjoyed it.

NADIA*BINTA...yes, you are. and a **** wonderful one at that.:)

skrybe7...to put it mildly, too "self" centered. when everything has to be about HER...it's not worth MY time.:) in understanding that, i know where not to take it...or let it go.

    THANKS FOR READING.
