she taught me a different language
    more advanced than ebonics
she layed it on me thick
in an east coast accent that
made me rise and caught me on the
descent wrote it on the lines
of my melanin and I understood
    clearly now that her tongue
was not only for licking her lips
and she outlined me with it's
tip as if I was page 69 in a coloring
    book

    she put me through advanced
classes in one night even gave me
instruction to speak it minus the
    stage fright when it needs
    to be spoke...to her while
I wet my lips in her garden
    taste so good/felt so good
she spoke ebonese like she was back
    in kindergarten and I
treated her 'til she needed her nap

    this language "ebonese" had me
jump outside of reality to view myself
from a dreams perspective and I
saw myself wearing beads of sweat
I could have only cultivated from the
    depths of her ocean

she translated e motion to me in
ebonese and taught me in one
night and now it is my native tongue.
